Over 500 generous supporters attended the Covenant House Texas Gala on Saturday, March 23, 2019, at the Hilton Americas Houston. The theme, “Majestic Passages: Journey to a Better Life,” was a magical, colorful evening, which generated nearly $800,000 in gross proceeds for homeless youth at Covenant House Texas.
This year’s wonderful event was spearheaded by gala chair, Jo Ann Petersen. Guests included Casey and Bubba Beyer, Trisha and Paul Bonar, Cathy and Joe Cleary, Yvonne and Tim Conklin, Jackie and Monty Eubank, Tonya and Hank Hamilton, Polly and Bill McKeon, Marlene and Kurt Nondorf, Mike Taylor, Patti and Tom Turner, and Sharon and Randy Walker.
The evening was emceed by David Paul of KHOU-TV, Channel 11 and Miranda Sevcik. One of the most memorable aspects of the evening was led by Bill King and Mike Holland.
