Join us for a community social at Covenant House Texas(CHT) on Thursday, November 15th. There will be music, food, and fun.
The evening will begin at 6PM. KPRC’s Khambrel Marshall will emcee the event for the seventh year. Speakers include honorary Sleep Out Chair, Jamey Rootes, President of the Houston Texans and Leslie Bourne, CHT Executive Director. Well-known singer-songwriter, Wayne Watson, will entertain guests with inspirational music. The Houston Texans’ cheerleaders and mascot, Toro, will also be in attendance.
Covenant House youth, together with their supporters, advocates, and Covenant House staff, will gather to share a bold message of hope and a call to action on behalf of the more than 4.2 million young people nationwide who will experience homelessness this year. Stand with our youth, celebrate their lives, and let your voice be heard that it is unacceptable for young people to be alone and homeless on our streets.
We would like to thank our sponsors The Robert and Janice McNair Foundation, Marek, Bank of Texas, JP Morgan Chase, and Gensler.
RSVP at www.covenanthousetx.org/vigil.
