Today the youth and staff hosted a fun program in honor of Black History Month. The program featured songs and prepared remarks. There were also special treats including slushies and cool cups. After lunch everyone was invited to dance.
Statistics show that young people who identify as Black and African-American are 83% more likely to experience homelessness. Covenant House Texas works to foster inclusiveness for the youth coming through our doors. We are truly there 24/7.
