Join the Cardboard Sleep Out Challenge

Covenant House Texas is expanding Sleep Out: Executive Edition this year with the Cardboard Sleep Out Challenge. The Cardboard Sleep Out is open to everyone. It is an engaging way for people of all ages to learn about the hardships that homeless youth face, and take an active role in giving their support. We are encouraging families, schools, and employees to sleep outside for one night to bring awareness to the issue of youth homelessness.

It’s easy to get involved! You can challenge your friends, family, or classmates to start a team. Get creative and start a competition throughout your child’s school, or just sleep out in your own backyard. Accept the challenge today! Click here to learn more and sign up

4.2 million young people in America will experience some form of homelessness this year. These young people find themselves without a safe, stable place to sleep. They may be escaping years of physical abuse, a dangerous human trafficking network, a drug-addicted parent, or a house overflowing with rage.

Every one of these young people has a story, and every one has a dream. Covenant House Texas is committed to providing not just a safe place for them to sleep, but also the resources, tools, and support for them to find a pathway to independence and realize their dreams.
